Obama calls for passage of bill to help small businesses...

We don't need a bill to help small business! What we need are lower taxes and a congress that will stop passing new costly legislation that just makes everyone afraid to spend money because they don't know what new groundbreaking, trillion dollar stimulus/recovery/reform package is coming tomorrow.

‎"Every single day, I'm pushing this economy forward, repairing the damage that's been done to the middle class over the past decade and promoting the growth we need to get our people back to work," Obama said.

First of all, stop pushing the economy - just because you don't believe in the free market, some of us still do. Second, don't pretend to be concerned about the middle class when everything you do only serves to add to the size of government. The middle class doesn't need your "repair", and we certainly don't need your created jobs.

Stop falsely propping up this economy. Lower the marginal tax rates for all taxpayers, cut capital gains tax, allow failing businesses to fail, allow unqualified mortgage holders to lose their homes and become renters, spend untold amounts of money on the defending our country from enemies at home and abroad (shameless plug for defense spending - hey, my kids gotta eat too), restore the Civilian Conservation Corps and put the unemployed to work on repairing our nation's infrastructure, send the returning Iraq War soldiers to the southern border (after some well-deserved R&R of course), and look the American people in the eye and say, "I am the President, I take full responsibility for the economy in good times and bad. I believe in the cause of democracy and I am willing to defend it at any cost, and I believe in government of the people by the people and for the people." Then just sit back, be patient, and enjoy basking in the glory of a recovering economy and 4 more years living in the White House. Successful Presidents all have one thing in common - they understand that America is not about Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal - it is about believing in the power of freedom and the power of the free market.
